ODYSSEY is both a sculptural artwork and a piece of functional furniture, merging industrial grit with organic softness. Its frame is constructed from salvaged car parts — bent chrome pipes, fragments of steel panels, gears. Each component is welded and bolted together in a way that celebrates the raw character of the scrap, leaving visible weld marks, scratches, and patina from years of prior use.
In contrast to the cold metallic skeleton, the seat and backrest are upholstered with fur. The fur is irregular, draping unevenly over the angular car parts, softening the harsh lines with warmth and texture. Its natural tones — creamy whites, grays, and subtle browns — juxtapose against the greasy blacks and silvers of the metal, creating a dialogue between machine and nature.
