The word "Awry" means unsuccessful, flawed, or twisted. This collection was inspired by distorted, imperfect pieces of wax that I shaped into the desired form of jewelry after casting. From "mistake" and "failure," a wearable piece of jewelry was ultimately created. The name refers both to the original mistake that inspired the collection and to the twisted perspective on the errors we all make, which can easily be turned into our own "adornments."
