FASHION EDITORIAL URBAN DYSTOPIA
Looking at the bright side
With time to spare during the lockdown Berlin based photographer Patrick Tichy spent hours traversing the paths of the German capital. The metropolis presented itself empty, dystopian and at peace with itself. Untouched by the footfall of its populace and void of traffic Berlin appeared as a concrete canvas to anybody who wanted to play.
Teaming up with model Nicole Gerritson and fashion retailer Katrina Ryback they painted the town with colour full designs and bold patterns from independent designers.
Places that would be busy where eerily quiet and presented themselves as willing backdrops.
Juxtaposing the empty cityscapes and architectural oddities with the colour full designs brought a much needed air of freshness amongst the long days of the lockdown.
