GOTO MAISON
Goto is a contemporary fashion project that explores the relationship between body, identity, and garment through a balance of traditional tailoring and conceptual design. Each piece is designed as an open structure that does not impose a fixed interpretation, but instead adapts to different bodies and ways of wearing. The collection is developed through moulage, working directly on the mannequin to allow forms to emerge naturally in three dimensions. Inspired by subcultures, art, music, literature, and conceptual fashion, goto approaches these influences as cultural references rather than purely aesthetic ones. We are particularly influenced by Japanese avant-garde designers, WHO challenge traditional ideas of form, identity, and the relationship between body and clothing. Instead of replicating visual codes, we focus on the values behind these movements, where clothing is not fixed but shaped by culture, personal interpretation, and the present moment.
