Filanda n.18's wide-leg trousers are named after Giusepper Terragni, who pioneered the Architettura Razionalista or Rationalist Architecture Movement in the 1920s-1930s in Italy. The shapes and structures of the buildings he designed, such as Novocomun Casa del Fascio in Como greatly inspired our collection’s silhouettes and embroidery patterns.
The trousers are made of 100% cotton and come with zip and button for closure.
The fabric is hand -picked from dead-stock in Italy. The making of the trousers, from sourcing the fabric, to designing, cutting and sewing the garment, takes place in an area of only 10 square kilometres in the Veneto region, Italy.
