Meisje blauw is a white cropped raglan style top with a hood and short sleeves made from vintage cotton lace. I sewed this top out of an antique tea towel cover. When there were no washing machines, these towels were used to cover dirty tea towels. The blue embroidery shows a little girl feeding pigeons. The girl's headgear indicates that the fabric comes from Holland. Each piece I make is unique and therefore has its own name. Care instructions: please clean it gently at 30 degrees - wash only at full moon.
