Beading is at the heart of my jewelry, an
ancient craft which lends itself to a multitude of interpretations. For the
past thirteen years I have been focusing mainly on creating unique pieces - very
small series at the most. My customers appreciate this.
is your most important consideration when designing a new collection?
I want to make something very aesthetic and
tactile. Contemporary jewelry allows a lot of possibilities in material and meaning, I feel lucky to be working in this field today.
who inspires you the most?
After all it is a quest - for beauty, casual
I am driven by the connective quality of jewelry – very often I find
it forges a relationship between designer and wearer. All my friends wear my
jewelry – many of my customers have become friends.
would you describe your affinity and interaction with the materials you use?
I would like to explore space and movement, and
how shapes and materials interact with the soft living surface of the human
